Faro de Maspalomas is an iconic lighthouse situated at the southern tip of Gran Canaria, in the municipality of San Bartolomé de Tirajana. Standing at 56 meters tall, it is one of the tallest masonry lighthouses in the Canary Islands and has been guiding ships since its first illumination on February 1, 1890.
